This paper summarizes the latest data about the treatment options available for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), paying special attention to the older patients. This review explored both trials that have included older patients and some clinically relevant drug-drug interactions. The data have been updated to 31^st October, 2020. In particular, details have been reported about the use of antivirals, heparin, steroid and hyperimmune plasma.
