Cicadatra lorestanica, sp. n. is described from western Iran. The species was collected in oak woodlands. The song is a continuous series of sound pulses produced at a rate of 917 + 68 Hz (n=4) with peak frequency determined to be 11.391 + 0.099 kHz (n=4).Downloads
