Abstract

The authors characterise some modifications of rachis of reared Gilthead seabream by using the biometry and the TAC. They purpose, particularly, the use of the Dimensional Comparison Ratio (RCD), in order to quickly assess the degree of lesions. Furthermore, they found that the lesions are configurable as cases of bone rarefaction and conclude stressing the importance of the monitoring and recording of these lesions by the Food Business Operator at level of the primary production.
